A single rose is floating in the water

A little girl watches it disappear

The waves carry the rose away

The little girl has to stay

Stay there

with the memory

of her big brother

Who was one of the 77 victims

A young boy

who was waiting

to turn eighteen

to get his license to drive

to drive to school

to continue his education

to continue his life

the little girl throws another rose

in his memory

without understanding

but the fact that

her brother will not come home

Her roses are floating in the water

Remember  little girl

You are not alone

We see your roses

And we share your sorrow

Waiting for a new dawn

We bring new roses tomorrow
